#radicalcompassion

Last night I replied to friend’s post of their local night out with, “Please, please, please be safe.” Love wrapped in judgement.

I’m certain their post was coming from a place of love and support for our local community and service-based industries being hit hard by what’s happening.

Fuck me very much.

We are all doing our best, trying to make the best decisions we can with the information we have.

Reflection

Reflection

What’s clear to me is that I want to do less in order to do more.

I’m not interested in jamming my calendar with meetings and clients and fun activities. In fact, I’d like less meetings and clients so I can be my fullest, most present and rested self for those I have.

I want more meaningful and therefore fewer get togethers with the people I love and and am getting to know. This will allow me to be fully present.

I want to create deeply meaningful and connected client partnerships where together we are advancing ideas that positively impact our lives and the lives of the communities we serve.

Patience

Patience

A friend recently posted on Facebook a question about cultivating patience. It really resonated with me because I tend to want things to happen right away.

When I really reflect on how I practice patience, it turns out I’m growing in my abilities (thankfully!). I think patience, like meditation, non-judgement, compassion and all the other things that make us better humans, are works in forever progress. They’re practices — things we do over and over with the intention of becoming incrementally better each time.

Taking Time the Annie Way

Wanna know what the least selfish thing you can do is? Take a solo getaway.

I’m presently stationed at Sarabande Bed & Breakfast in the glorious village of Los Ranchos situated within the city boundaries of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Yes, this little village is inside of Burque, just twenty minutes from the airport and fifteen from downtown.

Here’s My Plan

There is no reason at all why having what you want isn’t possible.

What do you really, really want though? This is a big and not so simple question to answer.

You can’t just arbitrarily pick goals. You really can’t. You’ll never get them and will create a habit of letting yourself down for not getting them. But don’t feel bad, they were arbitrary in the first place so no wonder you gave up.
