Strategy, but make it human.

Strategic thought partnership to…

  • Identify the cruxes

  • Anticipate future needs

  • See what others can’t or don't want to see

  • Slow things down

  • Triage operational chaos

  • Identify solutions to advancing goals while honoring the reality of the toll it takes on the humans getting it done.

    • Challenge: Can we get this thing done on time if we slow things down?

    • Answer: Yes, of course! With better planning, goal setting rooted in reality, and deep, deep care for all people involved.

Mariposa Strategies was founded in 2018 on a foundation of strategic planning.

Annie’s background in nonprofit capacity building, organizational and business strategy informed the early frameworks used to support nonprofits and businesses around the country.

In 2020, she invited a collaboration with a team of strategists and coaches with whom she supported a handful of the organizations listed below through 2023.

Today she primarily supports leaders with advanced coaching which includes the methods and frameworks she applies to her work as a consultant with teams.

Below this list of organizations and photos is a note on how Annie thinks about and approaches strategy work these days. Schedule a call to explore working together.

From Annie:

In 2025, I’m able to offer very limited strategic planning support to organizations and companies.

I’m eager to collaborate with teams committed to challenging their beliefs about responsibility and impact, and taking seriously the actions and decisions that lead to meaningful outcomes.

The change we seek to address through our work as leaders is inherently woven with our personal beliefs and values.

My strategy for change is rooted in a desire to imagine a much more expansive view of why the work we do matters, while honoring the reality of the people doing the work today.

So what is the work you’re doing? Who is it for? How are the choices and actions your team is making impacting others? How are they impacting you and your team?

I’d love to explore working together this year.
