RELEASING

Go find that balance in life.
No need for violence in life.
Celebrate your talents in life.

~Reginald Omas Mamode IV

You may say or have heard me say it, but it bears saying again: You can't know lightness without knowing darkness.

And along the same line, you can't feel lightness without clipping off, pouring out, setting down what's heavy.

Yesterday I offered 3 simple steps to help you tap into the power of possibility that have the potential to unlock massive momentum for you.

Today, October 25th, we're experiencing a south node solar eclipse in Scorpio. This means the part of you that is somewhat (or a lot) mysterious and needs intense transformation is going through a big clearing. Shedding. Releasing. Grieving.

My offering today is to NOT do much. Take it easy. Just do what you must and let everything else wait.

The possibility you sparked needs you to let go of what isn't yours to carry. Rebirth is just around the corner, so letting go is okay. It's okay. It's okay.

Here's something you can do to support the possibility you feel/felt and the part of you that needs to set down a really heavy bucket:

Ask yourself:

  • What is no longer mine to carry?

  • What do I want to stop doing (even if I'm not done yet)?
Write down what comes up or just be with it.

Then, later tonight or in the morning, from your favorite spot in the house or out in nature:

  • Take 3-5 breaths and say to yourself with each exhale: I release what is no longer mine.

What you want in 2023 needs you to let go of some things. It's just a matter of fact. You can't grow without shedding.

Don't put pressure on yourself though. Just acknowledge what isn't yours... anymore (or maybe never was). Say it. Write it. Be with it... then let it go.

If you want to take a tangible action:

  1. Write what you're releasing on a little piece of paper

  2. Fold it up while saying, "I release ____. It is no longer mine to carry. I am setting it down now."

  3. Place it in a cup or bowl.

If you could use some letting go energy, give this a listen.

If you need an ear, I'm here.

Here's to shedding and growing.

Big love,
Annie
